Everest Base Camp
Early in 2000 we set out from New Zealand travelling overland across the sub continent and through the middle east to Ireland.Since then, our odyssey has taken us to over 50 countries. This blog gives a chronological account of the period from May to December 2006 when we traveled east from Istanbul through the Central Asian countries of the ancient Silk Road and up through the Tibetan Plateau to Everest as well as on Safari through 8 African countries.
